What do surveyors do?
Why become a surveyor?
What is required?
Beyond the studying you must appoint a RICS-qualified counsellor to support and guide you through your application and assessment process. By completing the course we are able to act as your counsellor, thereafter we partner with a bespoke company who will help you to complete your RICS application forms and case studies for assessment.
You must complete 48 hours of CPD to be AssocRICS qualified and all RICS professionals must complete at least 20 hours of CPD activities each year. The course gives you in excess of 200 hours CPD and you will therefore meet this requirement.
You will be required to submit a written summary of your professional experience, a case study, a record of your CPD as well as completing an online ethics course. Once the ethics course has been completed your counsellor will confirm when you are ready for your written submissions to be sent to the RICS for assessment.
Upon joining the course you need to purchase reading materials and basic surveying equipment to assist your surveyor pathology learning and to facilitate your inspections.
